Applications Manager

A highly complex, time critical technical environment requires a senior manager to work with a large team across many disparate applications.

* Senior Management Role * Large team * Complex Environment * c$110k This large enterprise environment is seeking a key senior manager to take responsibility for the delivery and implementation of it's applications strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing incident and problem management, implementations, upgrades, quality assurance, future planning and will be involved in managing the vendor relationship and compliance with vendor related obligations. Management of the applications support teams, in particular the team leaders, is a critical part of this role. You will need to have previous Management experience coupled with the following: * 3 years plus team leader experience in an IT enterprise environment * Strong planning and organisational skills (Prince 2 or PMP Practitioner certification ideal) * Up to date technical knowledge gained within an applications or development arena. * ITIL knowledge/ qualifications advantageous Although you will primarily based in South Auckland, you will be required to travel throughout the Auckland region as required.
