* $150,000+ * Green Lane, Auckland * Cutting Edge Software House Our client is a leading, global provider of Product Graphics Management (PGM) software, a new category of enterprise software. PGM enables manufacturers to globally source, sell, and service products more effectively by delivering the right 2D and 3D product graphics, in the right format across their extended enterprises, all from accurate, up-to-date engineering data readily available in current CAD and PDM systems. As the Development Manager, you will have a pivotal role in ensuring high quality software solutions are delivered in a planned and timely fashion and that software meets the needs of customers and the business' objectives. Key duties: * Leads a large development team in the design and development of real-time 3D applications in the PLM/PDM/PGM enterprise world. * Supports existing applications in production. * Manages all internal and external work programmes to ensure KPIs are met or exceeded. * Monitors and controls associated design and project management costs and profitability. Key skills: * Big picture Project Management skills. * Living and breathing 3D Graphics (of all sorts) is essential. * High degree of interpersonal and problem-solving expertise. * Leadership and management ability. * Budgeting and cost control experience. * Strong .NET and/or Java UI development skills, OOP skills (C#, C++). * 3D modeling, CAD, PDM and animation software experience. * Knowledge and demonstrated abilities in modern enterprise architecture design, development and deployment. This is a crucial role and the organisation is flexible on remuneration package to reflect this.
