* $70,000 * Green Lane, Auckland * Leading Software House Our client provides today's leading end to end 2D and 3D visualization solutions, allowing manufacturing companies to leverage CAD data more effectively and communicate technical information, complex support procedures and market products with unprecedented clarity. The key requirement of the Software Engineer is to develop and maintain the organisation's enterprise application product. This enables translation and geometric manipulations of 3D files. Its client tools manage 2D, 3D, animation, video and audio assets residing on a computer or network. Main responsibilities: * Analyse, design and build business/technical solutions that deliver the client’s goals and provide our clients with maximum value. * To assist the Project Leader or Software Development Manager to ensure that projects achieve planned levels of profitability and product quality. * To create detailed design documentation. * To analyse the potential changes (change management) required and their impact on existing development. Key skills: * Database/SQL/Oracle/SAP experience. * S.O.A.P and XML experience. * Good understanding of enterprise systems and concepts. * Strong knowledge of C++/C# object-oriented design techniques. * ASP.Net and/or .Net Framework. * Ability to assimilate code quickly and leverage new code off existing libraries.
